Science Camp

Carlton Home and School Club is excited to offer our 5th-grade students the chance to earn credit toward their Science Camp fees through Wonka-Thon 2026 pledges.

  • 100% of your student’s Wonka-thon pledges (excluding company matching) will be applied to the cost of Science Camp, up to the full amount.
  • Example: If your student raises $500 in donations, $500 will go directly toward offsetting the camp fee. If $250 of that amount is company matching, then only $250 of the direct pledges will be applied to camp.
  • Good news: The full pledge amount – including company matching – still counts toward student pledge prizes.
  • Important: Pledges must be received by the end of the Wonka-Thon pledge drive to qualify for Science Camp credit.

DONATE TO THE RAFFLE

Our Raffle coordinators will be collecting new children’s items for the raffle held hourly during the Wonka-Thon. Email shannonrgonzales@gmail.com with questions and be on the look out for drop off dates to the cafeteria.

 

T-SHIRTS

All Carlton students will receive a FREE Wonka-Thon shirt. Your child will receive the size assigned to their grade as indicated below: 

Grade TK:                   Youth X-Small (XS)

Grades K, 1st, 2nd:    Youth Small (S)

Grades 3rd, 4th:         Youth Medium (M)

Grade 5th:                  Youth Large (L)

 

You are able to get a LARGER size for your child if needed. We are not able to accommodate smaller sizes. If you anticipate your child will need a LARGER size shirt, please fill out this FORM (CLOSED). Attempts to go size down will be ignored.

 

DEADLINE for this form is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th at 7pm.

 

The T-shirts will be delivered to the classrooms the last week in September. 

 

Company matching

Matching gift programs reward employees charitable contributions by matching the donation.

After an employee makes a donation to Carlton Home & School Club they can fill out a matching gift submission request (provided by your company) and submit it to their company’s HR department.

It is important when requesting company matching to select “Carlton Home & School Club” and NOT Carlton School.

 

If the donation and nonprofit meet the company’s guidelines, the company distributes the matching funds to Carlton Home & School Club for the same amount as the employee’s donation.

 

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Check to see if your company matches donations you make to Carlton Home & School Club. Company matching accounts for THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of the Carlton Home & School Club (CHSC) budget, and usually just takes a simple form to make it happen. Ask your employer for more information.
